The Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance for a practice-trained accountant to take on a varied role with excellent progression opportunities. Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts with detailed analysis
• Year-end accounts preparation and liaison with audit teams
• Full bookkeeping duties including VAT returns and reconciliations
• Mentoring junior staff members and reviewing their work
• Client-facing advisory work and relationship management
• Identifying and implementing process improvements

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for someone with:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or QBE with strong experience)
• Practice background - essential
• Strong technical skills in Xero, Excel (Dext/Caseware advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
