Position Summary
The Audit Manager will play a critical role in leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of professional excellence. Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Audit Leadership
- Manage and supervise audit teams for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and nonprofit sectors
- Develop comprehensive audit strategies tailored to each client's unique business environment and risk profile
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of financial statement audits in compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Conduct high-level review of audit work papers, ensuring technical accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to professional standards
Team Development and Mentorship
- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to senior associates and staff accountants
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance technical skills and professional competencies
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes continuous learning
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and relationship management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional service and strategic insights

Technical Expertise and Quality Assurance

Business Development

Qualifications
Required Credentials and Experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the State of New Jersey
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 7-10 years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm
- Extensive experience across multiple industries with a demonstrated ability to adapt to diverse client needs
- Proven track record of managing complex audit engagements
