Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor with a CPA license to join our growing firm in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in external audits, particularly in the non-profit sector, and will lead engagement teams while maintaining excellent client relationships.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise multiple audit engagements simultaneously, with a focus on non-profit organizations
  • Manage, mentor, and develop staff auditors and seniors, providing regular feedback and guidance
  • Review work papers, financial statements, and audit reports to ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services
  • Coordinate with partners and managers on engagement planning, execution, and completion
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
  • Contribute to the firm's quality control processes and risk management procedures
  • Participate in business development activities and proposal preparation


Required Qualifications

  • Active CPA license
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience, with at least 2 years at the senior level
  • Demonstrated experience leading external audit engagements for non-profit organizations
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance requirements
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven leadership and team management experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with accounting software and audit tools
  • Knowledge of tax-exempt organization reporting requirements
  • Experience with Form 990 preparation
  • Member of AICPA and Georgia Society of CPAs
